Classic American hops bring citrus and lemongrass characters to the fore in this infinitely drinkable hoppy lager

"Mugen" means infinity, and that is what this beer is attempting to be: infinitely drinkable. With a clean base and just the right amount of hops, "∞" ("Mugen") is a beer that can be enjoyed without end.
[Brewer's Voice]The second in our Hoppy Pilsner series, in contrast to our German Pilsner which was brewed using classic methods with modern German hops, this one we designed around using modern hopping methods with classic American hops. The malt bill is simple, with some clean pilsner base, and a touch of malted wheat and oats for body. Cascade and Centennial were used in the mash to soften the bitterness, and to get some light biotransformation interaction with the lager yeast. A light later boil addition of Chinook was brought in for some flavour, and lower temp and generous whirlpool addition of Citra and Simcoe wrap it up with a strong fruity and citrus aroma. A higher mash rest temp prevents the beer from getting too dry, as I wanted a little more body than the average pilsner to support the hop flavours. Simplicity is better for pilsners in our opinion, as this style needs to be light, crisp, drinkable, and with more hop flavour than your average lager. We have already had my fair share of this beer’s German sibling, but honestly, we are looking forward to this one even more. Citra + Simcoe in a pilsner?
