This wheat and oat heavy peach sour has a hazy appearance with a creamy body perfect for showcasing its juicy tart peach flavour, this time with a hint of ume. An aroma of white peaches with a background of tart tropical notes brought together with the stone fruit yeast esters and light hop flavour, this is our favourite version of one of our most popular fruit sours to date.

[Naming]
The character for Jun is one that simply translated means "moisture". There's little more satisfying than eating a juicy peach, and the aroma alone is enough to conjure images of a first bite. While all beers are liquid, this one is particularly enjoyable in moments of thirst!
[Brewer's Voice]
We made quite a few updates to Jun this year. The goal was to make this beer more closely resemble a sour peach smoothie, and making the beer as impactful as possible. This year’s Jun has a bit more body as we went with a very heavy wheat and oat malt bill, and boosted the final gravity with the addition of some unfermentable sugars. A small amount of Sabro was added for its fruity and creamy hop character. As always, a copious amount of peaches were added in both juice and puree form. We took a slightly different approach on souring this year and went with an ume (sour plum) puree as the main source of beer souring. This gives the beer a touch softer of a sour mouthfeel, while adding a little bit of depth to the stone fruit character. This beer has a wonderful fresh peach and apricot aroma, with a gentle but very present sour character. This beer balances high impact with drinkability with its soft creamy body and bright stone fruit aromas, as well as a sourness that keeps it refreshing to the last drop.
