[Character]
An IPA that combines the fruity and spicy character of Belgian yeast with the tropical fruit impression of an East Coast style Hazy IPA. This beer has Rakau, El Dorado, and Chinook hops giving the beer flavours of tropical melons, stone fruit, pineapple, and a hint of resin. With a focus on late hop additions, this beer is low on bitterness and easy to drink while being packed with hop character.

[Naming]
A lively character, just like his older sister Marina, Marito is a bright spark. Whilst free spirited, Marito has a serious side, and it wouldn't be a stretch to call him the black sheep of the family.
[Brewer's Voice]
Marito comes back this year bigger and better than ever. In our revamping of our Mari family of beers, we focused on maintaining similar flavour profiles for each beer while boosting them up to let them show off what they do best. Marito comes back to us with familiar East Coast-style IPA roots, boasting flavours of melon, stone fruit, pineapple and piney resin. Despite the increase in hop volumes, we focused on keeping bitterness low and ensuring it maintained the nice soft pillowy mouthfeel from the wheat additions. This beer is kept very simple on the malt side of things, consisting of a white IPA-like malt bill with Golden Promise and a blend of wheat malt and flaked wheat, and just a touch of dextrin malt for body. A blend of Chinook, El Dorado and Rakau are used to achieve the honeydew melon, stone fruit and resinous pine flavours. The hop load has increased by nearly 1.7 times for this update, and we focused on using modern hop products to keep the organic material down resulting in a clean tasting IPA. Finishing out with our house Belgian strain, complimenting this bold hop profile with fruity yeast esters, the beer is dry but keeps the balance of soft mouthfeel and drinkability with a more robust hop character.
