[Naming]
Tama, meaning a ball or sphere, is a reference to the round and juicy grapes that provide the sharpness and sweetness of this beer.
[Brewer's Voice]
This beer started out as a way to explore the dividing line between wine and beer. Our first iteration was with Muscat grape juice, and the second release was the same blend as this Kyoto and Red Grape version.

Similar to last year, this brew has loads of grape flavor and aroma. Unlike wine, the special lactic ale yeast used to ferment this beer leaves a little more sugar and acidity behind, which expresses the juicy character more like fresh grapes. The malt background gives a familiar smooth base and a bit more mouthfeel than wine would as well. All together, this beer is an easy drinking brew that is something like a wine cooler.
