These original tabi socks were created with SOU・SOU, a Kyoto-based brand known for expressing the beauty of Japan’s four seasons and traditional aesthetics through modern, colorful designs on items such as tabi footwear, clothing, and accessories.

These carefully crafted tabi socks are produced in Yamatotakada City, Nara Prefecture which is known for having one of the highest sock production volumes in Japan.

Care Instructions
・Do not use chlorine-based bleach
・Rinse thoroughly when washing.
・Use a mild detergent.
・Avoid using a dryer.
・Hang dry in the shade with the elastic opening facing upward.
・Excessive force applied to the patterned area may cause threads to loosen. Please place the socks in a laundry net when washing.

【About the Blend Ratio and Comfort】

This product uses 30-count cotton yarn for the main body. Polyester is blended into the toe area for added reinforcement. In addition, 1% polyurethane is used on the back to enhance stretchability. The patterned areas use Avilas (nylon yarn), so the nylon blend ratio may vary depending on the design (the blend ratio listed online represents the average value).

The stretch and fit may vary slightly depending on the size and complexity of the pattern, but this does not affect the quality of the product. Thank you for your understanding.

【About Shrinkage After Washing】

The 1% polyurethane used in the inner yarn may shrink slightly after washing. Since the Avilas (nylon yarn) used in the patterned areas is thinner than the cotton yarn in the main body, it may be affected by the shrinkage of the polyurethane. 

Patterns that use a larger amount of nylon yarn may experience slightly more shrinkage. However, the stretchability remains almost unchanged after washing. Because the amount of nylon yarn differs depending on the pattern, shrinkage after washing may vary between designs. Thank you for your understanding.
