A raspberry sour beer made for drinking in the sun!

This was one of the first heavily fruited sours we made, taking inspiration from Florida Weisse-style beers that were popular at the time. The positive reaction we got from the first release encouraged us to make other similar beers and eventually allowed for the creation of the Iridescence series of sour beers we now have available year-round.
Not much has changed since the last release aside from the use of an English ale yeast. In beers like this yeast flavor is hard to notice, but switching from an American strain means more residual sugar is left behind after fermentation. This sweetness helps emphasize the fruity flavors of the raspberries and balance the sourness created by lactic fermentation.
