We're putting together a taste comparison set of our two "One Day in the Forest" beers, our Honey Maibock and our Dunkel. With a fruity and herbal aroma offered by nuances from the honey and hop additions, the Honey Maibock offers plenty of character and dryness while offering enough character and body. The Dunkel, on the other hand, is fuller, darker, maltier, while still remaining drinkable, with a wonderful nuance from the anise to provide something a little unique for this style. We hope to enjoy this nuanced pairing, inspired by Germany's more malt-driven styles.

  1. One Day In The Forest- maibock   (ABV: 8.0%) Honey Maibock
    With floral honey aroma, and a deep body, this Maibock offers layers of character
  2. One Day In The Forest- dunkel   (ABV: 5.0%) Dunkel
    For the second beer in our thiol and Phantasm IPA series, we went on the softer side with an Oat Cream DDH IPA. While this Hazy IPA has a soft and creamy mouthfeel, it is still bursting with hop aromas and flavors such as muscat, grapefruit, passionfruit, and citrus.
