Hazy IPA brewed in the New England style with a twist of belgian yeast for added citrus and tropical fruit character
[Character]A soft and semi sweet malt aroma is amplified by the fruity esters from the belgian yeast comppliented by a citrus hop character.[Food Pairing]Chicken tikka and courgette pizza, goya and shrimp pad thai, passionfruit infused creme brulee[Naming]Marina has a lot in common with her sister Mariko, namely Belgian yeast and American hops. Personality wise, though, Marina has a flair for the dynamic and a tendency to go a bit over the top. With 2.5 times the amount of hops as used in Mariko, she lives up to her namesake![Brewer's Voice]New England IPAs are known for being Hazy, soft, low in bitterness, with a fruit forward hop character. We took this beer style and applied our Belgian house yeast to compliment the citrus and tropical fruit character from the hops with the natural fruit esters produced by the yeast. We kept a similar structure to the Marina you knew from last year and leaned into its best traits. It is a bit brighter and more hop forward, while staying true to the New England style of IPA of soft drinkability. The result is a complex bouquet for aromas in a very familiar and approachable beer.StyleBelgian IPASeriesMari FamilyABV6.5%IBU30Gas Volume2.6MaltPilsner, Wheat, Carapils, OatsHopCascade, Simcoe, Sabro, CitraYeastBelgian AleCategoryBeerJAN4589718741734Best Before2024/12/13
