A super hoppy and bright white IPA, built on a base of Rahr's high-quality malt

[Character]

Using Rahr Malting's pilsner and white wheat for softness, with the addition of some Gambrinus honey malt for a touch of sweetness, this soft white IPA has a low to medium bitterness and a dry finish. The combination of Simcoe and Nelson Bliss blends tropical with resinous and dank flavours and aromas.

[Naming]

A bright beer full of good feelings, not unlike those experienced when hops and malts are all working together in sync. So put on some good tunes to go with it, whether chilling by yourself or having fun with some friends.

[Brewer's Voice]

Brewed in collaboration with Rahr Malting, this beer is designed to showcase some of the strengths their malt brings to beer. The base of this beer comes from their NorthStar pilsner, bringing an exceptionally clean and neutral flavour, while giving us a good amount of sugar extract, making it very versatile across a wide range of beer styles. The character comes then more from Rahr white wheat, contributing a soft bread-like character, as well as body and mouthfeel to the beer. To give this base beer some sweetness to balance out the strong hop character, we used just a small amount of Gambrinus Honey malt, and as you might guess, this adds a mildly sweet honey character to the beer, whilst not becoming cloying. We pair these malts with a blend of Simcoe hops, both T90 and Cryo, as well as Nelson Bliss, bringing a strong resinous character with an array of citrus and tropical flavours to back it up. When paired with the soft, clean malt bill, this makes for a very approachable but impactful IPA.
