ご地愛シリーズ「与謝野が実る」分の寄付をお渡しできました！ーハピネス子ども食堂さん－

Our Locality Series is one way we look to give back to Kyoto, the community that has supported us from our foundation. A portion of the proceeds from beers in this series are donated to local organizations and those from Yosano Bears Fruit were happily presented to Happiness NPO via the founder Uno-san.

Our connection with Uno-san began when a recipe ingredient change left us with an inordinate amount of powdered miso soup on our hands (Yokon Wasai for those who have long memories! https://kyotobrewing.com/products/yokon-wasai). An online search landed us at Kodomo Shokudo which was started by Uno-san to not only create a positive environment for kids outside of school, but also ensure they had access to nutritious meals in a welcoming, communal, and learning focused environment. Uno-san’s seemingly endless supply of energy and motivation to make positive change in the local community through Happiness NPO has always impressed us and we have continued to support them by donating proceeds from label sales in the taproom as well as participating alongside Uno-san in a community forum regarding social welfare in Minami Ward.
