All Together Worldwide Collab - Part3

This is without doubt one of our most unique beers released to date. Not so much for the style brewed, hops used, or techniques adopted, but more for why it was brewed and what it was a part of.

As we mentioned in previous blog posts, we are proud participants in the All Together beer project. Initiated by Other Half Brewing in New York, this project brings together breweries throughout the world to support the hospitality industry. Each brewery makes the same recipe, with minor changes made based upon ingredients on hand and personal preferences, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to organizations that support those in the service industry during what has been the most serious threat to its existence in many years.

At KBC, we are donating to "Kyoto Self Lockdown", a crowdfunding project supporting restaurants and bars in Kyoto who decided proactively close their businesses prior to the government requesting that they do so. It is our hope that by making such a direct donation, our support can reach those in need as quickly and effectively as possible.

As for the beer, we brewed it as close to the specifications of the collaboration recipe as possible, with some minor substitutions in hops and a decision to make the IPA neither American East or West Coast, but something in between. The result is without doubt one of the hoppiest creations yet to come out of our tanks, and somewhat of a departure from our usual flavour profile. We hope you will enjoy this unique beer, and also take the opportunity to try the beers from other participating Japanese breweries!

For your reference, here is a list of participating domestic breweries, current as of the time of posting.
