Taking elements that we like about New England IPAs, we have combined these with our Belgian yeast for a dry and KBC-esque IPA
[Character]The sweet aroma and flavor of modern citrus hops is balanced by the dry character of our house Belgian yeast. [Food Pairing]Green Curry, Eggs Benedict, White Asparagus[Naming]Marina has a lot in common with her sister Mariko, namely Belgian yeast and American hops. Personality wise, though, Marina has a flair for the dynamic and a tendency to go a bit over the top. With 2.5 times the amount of hops as used in Mariko, she lives up to her namesake![Brewer's Voice]While we love all IPAs here at Kyoto Brewing Co., one variety that we find we have difficulty drinking more than one of is NEIPA, or hazy IPA. There is often an overly sweet and full character that tries to balance the huge amount of hops used that makes the style hard to love. That made us wonder if we could create something similar with our fruity yet dry house yeast.StyleBelgian IPASeriesMari FamilyABV6.0%IBU18.5Gas Volume2.6MaltPilsner, Wheat, Oats, Munich, CarapilsHopColumbus, Simcoe, Cascade, Citra, SabroYeastBelgian AleCategoryBeerJAN4589718740782Best Before2022/03/06
