This beer is designed to be right at home in an english pub, meant to be enjoyed with good company. This beer is mildly flavored with a medium body, dry finish and just a bit of hop character to round it all out. This beer balances the flavor to drinkability ratio just right to leave you refeshed but wanting more.
[Character]This English Pub ale style beer is easy to drink, brings a mild malt character and has crisp finish. Light in body, with a mix of toffee, carmel and biscuit flavors from the malt and a light mix of spice and herbal aromas from the hops. [Naming]The original meaning of a "Sharaku", or "Sharakumono" is essentially the character or personality in a public place who gets attention through their being an entertainer, being funny, a good storyteller, or generally charismatic. This type of person is exactly the type you might find in a British pub, creating atmosphere at the bar, and so we felt this a good fit for such a beer, who we hope will be the life of a few parties![Brewer's Voice]Classic pub ales take up a soft spot in my heart. It is the quintessential beer with friends type of beer. These beers are designed to hold up to being poured from casks and beer engines, often at much warmer temperatures and lower carbonation levels than most other styles. This kind of craftsmanship really shine through to make a tasty drinkable beer in that more unforgiving environment. These are your classic “Beer flavored beers” as I like to say. A nice balance of malt profile and mild hop character with great drinkability. Intended to be consumed in multiples without being overly taxing on your palette. Quality of ingredients and brewing process makes or breaks these styles of beers. For our base malt we use nothing but Simpsons marris otter, we paired that malt with a touch of Crystal malt and flaked wheat for some extra body and some Carmel toffee sweetness. Paired with that we went with East Kent Goldings and Fuggle hops to give it a bit of herbal and floral character on the nose and enough soft bitterness to balance out the malt sweetness. The biggest problem with this beer is that it disappears from my glass far too quickly! This beer pairs best with good friends and better conversations.StyleEnglish BitterSeriesKBC2.0ABV4.5%IBU22Gas Volume2.5MaltMarris Otter, Crystal MediumHopFuggle, East Kent GoldingsYeastWindsorOthersFlaked WheatCategoryBeerJAN4589718741925Best Before2025/03/18
